The Role:
Establish the overall product test strategy covering all layers from unit testing to vehicle acceptance validation.Participate in verification and validation plan/strategy reviews to ensure alignment with the overall product test strategyCoordinate and ensure alignment of the program milestones with the verification/validation and release schedulesCoordinate the supplier validation activities with the Supplier Quality team Work closely with the SQA Lead and help establish the verification and validation process definitionManagement and control of defects within the system integration verification and validation environments.Participate in the Verification and Validation planning and bug review meetingsCoordinate with development teams to build a roadmap for defect resolution Develop weekly defect status reports and trending reportsIdentify and implement process & tool improvements to improve defect resolution timesQualifications:
Bachelors in Computer Science or any related field, Masters preferredExperience in test and defect management and related tools and techniquesExperience with software development methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, CI/CDExperience with the software program, requirement, defect, and configuration management tools, such as Jira, GIT, Jama, IBM rational, etc.Demonstrate experience of working in a high-pressure environment with strong time management and prioritization skillsAttention to detail even under pressure and the ability to manage multiple concurrent assignments to meet deadlinesAbility to build a strong relationship with internal customers, influencing and persuading where appropriate and resolving any conflictsAbility to articulate knowledge of Test and Defect Management processes to a wide audienceExcellent written and verbal communication skills
