The Service Lab supports multiple teams across the company organization. We partner with engineers to perform time studies and validation procedures. In addition, we provide service support at events with the Communication department. We are looking for a motivated individual who is a self-starter and can work with ambiguous tasks. You will help manage the Service Lab team travel schedule, track validations and time studies, and carry out strategic initiatives to help advance our roadmap forward.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the upper-level travel schedule with requirements from multiple departments.
  • Coordinate cross functionally to systematically track and schedule validations. and time studies performed at multiple site locations.
  • Work with Fleet and Special Projects team on program event support.
  • Work with accounts payable, procurement and finance and other cross functional teams to assure clear communication and updates of projects.
  • Builds cross-functional relationships to support account strategy and coordinate the use of internal resources.
  • Partner with internal departments to define operational goals.
  • Articulate key program strategic information to stakeholders and key program sponsors.
  • Develop and deliver the defined event program scope to ensure requirements are successfully achieved.
  • Perform planning and program activities.
  • Perform program level risk/impact analysis reviews and define, record recovery strategies including response plans and role ownership.
  • Perform analysis and work with internal team to generate recovery plans to safeguard program milestones.
  • Support change management activities to achieve program objectives.
  • Provide leadership during program assessments with appropriate department personnel.
  • Prepare various program reports to confirm Scope/Quality/Cost of the program are on track.
  • Work closely with the Sr. Program Manager on the team to help with day-to-day activities to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of project management or operations required
  • Experience in automotive industry, OEM or Tier 1 Supplier
  • Prior experience with program management tools Jira, Confluence, SharePoint is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or PMP certification is a plus
  • Strong understanding of service, events coordination, business processes, and operations
  • Ability to work independently in the gray with little supervision while maintaining high quality level of work and efficiency
  • Proven track record of problem solving and driving cross-functional projects to completion
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel (up to 50% of the time sometimes with short notice)
