Helion is looking for a Production Lead who has demonstrated strong skills as a technician and is looking to further develop their leadership skills. The primary responsibility is to uphold technical standards and safety protocols, coordinate day-to-day operations of the team to bring clean energy to the world. Some tasks for which this position would be responsible range from building first articles to quality assurance. 

 

What You'll Be Doing 

  • Provide mentorship and expertise to maintain and improve production standards 
  • Build first articles and subassemblies 
  • Clean and kit hardware for system installation 
  • Review and assist in the execution of validation protocols 
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the production team as assigned 
  • Resolve or assist in solving technical problems  
  • Coordinate special project activities 
  • Coordinate training requirements and conduct training for technicians that are new to the functional build 
  • Create and train on manual assembly best practice/technique sheets 
  • Help evaluate team technical performance 

  

About You 

  • Experience working in a hands-on environment 
  • Experienced in managing multiple projects in parallel with day-to-day tasks 
  • Demonstrated leadership skills 
  • Ability to work independently and within a team 

Desired but not required-  

  • Electromagnetic assembly experience and soldering experience 
  • Demonstrated proficiency measuring hand and shop tools
