As a leader in cutting-edge of electric aviation, we are looking for dynamic and experienced Product Quality Leaders to join our team and drive the Product Quality performance throughout the commodity areas assigned.
This role is responsible for the structure's quality integrated program team, including all of the quality engineering and inspection resources, necessary to support the Company Inspection and FAA Conformance of the assemblies and sub-assemblies for which the role is responsible. This role is a working lead position and requires to act as both the lead quality engineer and the team lead, acting in both capacities to ensure components are delivered on time and in compliance with the engineering-defined requirements.

How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:
Lead the development and execution of the Quality Integrated Program team, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives for their designated qualityProvide team guidance for all aspects of team performance, both quality engineering and quality control to support operations outcomes and build schedules.Manage the priorities, scheduling, training, and development of the Quality IPT to ensure it is adequately resourced to meet company needs.Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of quality engineers and quality inspectors.Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages continuous learning and improvement.Conduct performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities for team members.Provide technical guidance to the IPT to ensure QMS requirements are fully understood and implemented, and the team processes are aligned with the rest of the organization.Ensure that the quality program for their team meets performance standards.Collaborate with Production Quality Lead and other Quality IPT Leads to innovate and improve quality processes to ensure that company goals can be met without compromising product outputs or safety standards.Lead the company inspection and FAA conformance processes for the product, articles, assemblies and subassemblies manufactured within a given area of responsibility.Ensure compliance with all relevant aerospace regulations and standards.Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support certification efforts.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in engineering/quality development environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.Experience in dealing with metallic and/or composite structures design and development program, either in an engineering or quality role. Experience in a regulated environment such as IS9001:2015, Proven track record of successfully managing teams in mature quality programs, or in the development of quality programs certified to an industry benchmark such as AS9100 .In-depth knowledge of aerospace quality regulations and certification processes.Strong technical expertise in quality system management, product quality or supplier quality.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Passion for electric aviation and sustainable technologies.
Above and Beyond Qualifications that will distinguish you:
Experience in aviation is a plus.Advanced degree preferred in Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related fieldExperience in a high-level regulatory environment such as aviation, medical, or nuclear power a plus.
