We are currently seeking a Product Manager for residential charging in China. This position requires a highly experienced professional with a proven track record of excellence, successful product delivery and strategy definition. The candidate shall demonstrate strong organizational capabilities, and the ability to command respect from the talented teams he or she will help lead and coordinate. The ideal candidate will communicate proactively so that each team member remains aware of the timing and delivery expectations placed upon them. The candidate will also ensure that critical issues are identified and brought to the attention of senior management in a timely manner.

The Role

  • Assist in defining a and executing a go-to-market strategy for residential charging in China.
  • Continuously monitor the market and competition so that the strategy may be adjusted if necessary.
  • Work closely with legislative groups and industry associations to ensure that Lucid is well informed of legislative and market trends.
  • Define the customer value proposition for an end-to-end residential charging offer.
  • Define product and service requirements including Lucid USPs.
  • Work closely with teams in California and Europe to develop, implement, and manage the processes and workflows required to provide our customers with a premium end-user experience from ordering, delivery, installation, and operation of their home charging equipment.
  • Help identify, develop, and manage relationships with commercial partners.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with the various stakeholders including product management, engineering teams, marketing, and other relevant parties to support roadmap definition and implementation.
  • Communicate status and risks to senior management and perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
  • Interface closely with the sales & delivery organizations and ensure customer feedback processes are used to continually optimize the experience
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the program’s vision and key milestones
  • Requirements

  • 2+ years in product project, or process management or similar roles.
  • 2+ years EV charging systems experience including knowledge of EV charging and EMS standards for the Chinese market
  • Experience in managing the development and delivery of complex customer-facing processes and products.
  • A history of adapting and success in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • A drive to create world-class customer experiences and products.
  • Excellent communications and leadership skills.

  • Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (electrical or industrial engineering, computer science, or similar)
  • Master’s degree is advantageous.
