What You Will Be

ChargePoint Station management software enables employers, retailers, property manager, parking facilities and other verticals to offer EV charging to their drivers. The Customer Onboarding, Product Manager is responsible for defining a customer-facing solution to enable order, contract, license, account management while keeping in mind the needs of customers, partners, installers and other stakeholders in delivering a superlative customer experience for new and existing ChargePoint customers. You need to will understand the business strategy, the needs of station owners, channel partners/distributors and other partners who help enable charging and to build global solutions that help the business scale as the world electrifies every aspect of transportation.  Internally, you will be collaborating with the Sales, Partner, Business Applications, and Product Management teams to help scale this rapidly growing market with small businesses to enterprise-level customers.

In this role, you will

  • Lead the definition and execution of scalable and streamlined onboarding experience for a variety of customers in collaboration with our UX team, sales, as well as customer support and other key stakeholders, including definition of key metrics for measuring quality, performance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Prioritize requirements based on customer pain points, well-researched understanding of market needs and trends, informed by data and research inputs from our user experience team.
  • Work closely with Engineering and Business Applications to achieve alignment on feature implementation.
  • Ensure that all solutions and features are scalable are supportable for ChargePoint’s business including finance, customer support, operations, legal, sales and engineering.

Qualifications & Experience

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree required
  • 3-5 years of experience working with cloud software
  • Direct experience in product management and in working within matrixed organizations
  • Demonstrated commercial and technical acumen with a track record in delivering global products and understanding of local and regional differences
  • Experience working with agile development processes, using tools such as Atlassian Jira, cloud technologies.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with an eye towards developing scalable and supportable products
  • Experience in B2B customer onboarding or CX projects is a plus
  • Experience in the Electric Vehicle space or software-as-a-service is a plus
  • MBA or equivalent business experience is a plus
  • Ability to travel to regions to understand market requirements and support our regional teams. Travel is minimal
  • Passionate about ChargePoint and our mission

ChargePoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $70,000 to $162,000. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications and specific work location.
