Procurement Operations Manager - Indirect

Your role and your team:

We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Procurement Operations Manager for Indirect Procurement. You will establish this newly created role and work closely with senior Commodity Procurement, Project and Program Management, Engineering and Production, Logistics, as well as our BPO (Business Process Outsourcing Partner) to ensure on-time and on-quality delivery. Reporting to the Head of General Procurement, you are responsible for the procure-to-pay process performance, as well, supplier management – performance and risk management for the Indirect procurement. This role will have a high exposure across Lilium, as you will contribute to building Lilium, as a company.

Procurement at Lilium means to work within a team of highly skilled experts from different horizons, who are managing the creation and establishment of a professional aircraft and non-aircraft supply base with the highest quality product available in time.  

Your Day to Day:

• Managing the procurement and supply chain operations for Indirect procurement, on-time and on-quality
• Developing and monitoring the performance of the incumbent BPO partner
• Developing the make-or-buy strategy for Procurement Operations in Indirect
• Establishing SLAs with Production and Engineering divisions for an extra-ordinary user satisfaction and program requirements
• Maintaining contact with Supplier Base and ensuring outstanding Supplier payment performance
• As required, deploying and leading task forces, to tackle operational issues internally or within the supply chain
• Supporting actively Category Management in the execution of the Category strategies
• Ensuring Data compliance in our ERP
• Leveraging data and data presentation for fast decision making, problem solving and performance management
• Participate in internal and external audits, as required

Your Profile:

• Minimum five-year experience in Procurement Operations
• Minimum one BPO experience (on BPO side or customer side)
• Data driven
• Change management talent
• Great communicator with outstanding interpersonal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to define and deploy digital solutions, particularly in the area of performance management
• Fluent in English, advanced level in German is desirable
