Responsibilities:

•Architect, design, and implement data processing solutions using best practices for Manufacturing and Logistics data. 

•Advocate and train other data teams for best practices in data warehouses.

•ETL Design and Development, contribute to the development of a big data platform using pipeline technologies such as Redshift, Kafka, Airflow 

•Design, develop and automate, Self-serviced and Executive dashboards with Tableau or similar tools. 

•Design normalization/de-normalization techniques for data analysis and optimum performance in big data environment using Presto, Redshift. 

•Work with data warehouse, data lake design, data modeling, and data management  

•Interface with business customers, gathering requirements and delivering complete reporting solutions. 

•Create and Manage master data. 

•Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc., to drive critical business decisions. 

•Deliver near-real-time and batch processed data and applications to a team of analysts and data scientists who create insights and analytics applications for our stakeholders. 

•Participate in data strategy and road map exercises, business intelligence/data warehouse product selection, design, and implementation 

Qualifications:

15+ years of work experience with ETL, data modeling, business intelligence big data architectures, and data visualization. 

•Experience in at least one SQL and Data Manipulation. 

•Proficient experience with Tableau and Grafana

•Experience with Scheduling and orchestration tools such as Airflow 

•Proficient experience with Python and Scripting Language. 

•Experience developing and managing data warehouses and data marts. 

•Experience with Redshift or similar analytical databases.

•Understanding of data versioning and SCDs. 

•Familiarity with AWS solutions such as S3, Parquet/ORC, Redshift 

•Experience working with unstructured or semi-structured datasets 

•Experience streaming data systems such as Kafka   

•Experience working directly with business users and executives to build reports.

Education:

Bachelor/master's in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
