Join the Powertrain Team based in Bristol as a Powertrain Modelling Senior Manager and help us to achieve our mission of pioneering electric aviation.
What success will look like for you, as a Powertrain Modelling Senior Manager
As a Powertrain Modelling Senior Manager you will be responsible for leading a passionate team who are creating robust designs, using the latest technology, to find optimised results for our new generation of battery packs to support our aircraft program. We will look to you to deliver the Powertrain Model and all Virtual Verification Analysis evidence, specifically focusing on overseeing the development and implementation of mathematical models, validation of models and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate representation of powertrain dynamics, performance optimisation, and supporting decision-making in design and development processes.
What would we like you to bring?
We want you to be successful in your role, in order to achieve this, you will need to have proven experience using CFD modelling as well as Simulink, Simscape or Matlab systems. Strong people management and excellent cross-functional relationship building within an agile, fast paced organisation is a must. It's highly preferable you will be coming from, or have recent experience within, a prototype, start-up or new technology environment. Ideally you will be able to periodically commute to our Vertical Energy Centre Location in Avonmouth, although we will consider remote applicants within the UK.
Please note this is a 12 month maternity cover fixed term contract role, beginning in early March 2024
