The Development Portfolio Management Team at OEGEN is responsible for delivering our development investments and works hand in hand with developers to deliver on the investment cases in changing commercial and market dynamics.
Your mission will be to make our large development portfolio across Europe a huge success. It spans different maturity stages (from early-stage land to ready to build) and five countries.

We are looking for someone who is very commercially minded, understands renewables development, loves data and communicates clearly with the team and senior stakeholders. The board directors and fund managers will rely on you to support them in decision

You will be in charge of value maximisation of projects through their development journey (from early stage to ready to build) and lead on exits.

What you'll do

  • Commercial Management:
  • You will support the commercial management of multiple development pipelines, working with a team of portfolio managers and developers to track performance against investment cases and agreed milestones.
  • Act as a key day-to-day contact with development partners, managing day-to-day coordinating and communication with developers and lead operation reviews of pipelines.
  • Maintain and adapt financial models to monitor valuation and financial performance of investments, conducting regular assessments of overall portfolio performance against objectives and reporting progress to OEGEN fund managers.
  • Support managers on value maximisation initiatives for each development project, including exit timing, sale preparation, revenue contracting, last mile development and other activities, ensuring optimal returns to investors on exit.
  • Monitor and interrogate project progress, budgets and KPIs, identifying and escalating risks in a timely manner, and provide briefings and solutions to decision makers (such as board directors and fund managers).

  • Governance Oversight:
  • Support in implementing and maintaining governance frameworks across portfolio companies, ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with developers on the preparation of board packs, investment committee materials and other operational review documentation to support senior management.
  • Track compliance with internal processes and external regulatory requirements, escalating gaps where identified.

  • What you'll need

  • Strong commercial acumen and experience in managing investments, assets and/or development pipelines against investment objectives.
  • Be a pro-active and self-starting senior team member who has a strong sense of ownership, “can do” attitude, strong team spirit and ability to grow team members.
  • Proficient in financial modelling principles, accounting, project management, data and reporting.
  • Experience in analysing complex data, tracking KPIs, and preparing structured reporting for internal stakeholders.
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills, adept at building relationships and presenting analysis to a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Preferably but not mandatory experience in the sale of renewable energy assets (development, in construction or operational stage).
