People Operations Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a People Operations Coordinator to support our organisation through scale. You will own people operations across all markets, which means delivering scalable and effective core people processes and programs across all employee life-cycle activities. This role plays a critical role in supporting the growth of Monta, ensuring best in class employee experience and directly impacting our ability to deliver on our mission.

What your days and responsibilities would look like

• Prepare and review contracts, addendums, compensation and benefits packages across all markets
• Manage end-to-end activities related to payroll
• Maintain and update employee records with new hire information and/or changes in employment status
• Process employees’ queries and respond in a timely manner
• Develop and implement people policies and processes throughout the organisation
• Ensure compliance and that documentation, policies & handbooks are updated at all times
• Manage people reporting, track key people KPI’s and measure progress
• Co-create and manage team meetings, and engagement activities

Requirements

• Great interpersonal skills, curious, positive, and hungry to learn
• 3+ years of generalist experience in an HR / People & Culture Ops role, preferably from a high-growth, fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of HRIS and other people systems and processes as well as solid understanding of labor legislation, compliance and payroll processes
• You have strong organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise competing priorities; you can easily switch between administrative, people-oriented, and creative tasks
• Ability to initiate and deliver full-cycle projects (start to finish) and results in a timely manner
• Good problem-solving abilities as well as effective communication skills
• Attention to detail is one of your talents; monitoring and checking work or information to deliver accurate data and good quality is a priority for you
• You are excited by the idea of being a champion of our culture
• Since English is our working language, we expect full proficiency verbally and written
