Who You Are

As a People Operations Contractor on the People team, you will be the foundational support ensuring our HR processes run smoothly. You are someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to launch a career in Human Resources while working onsite five days a week. On a day-to-day basis, you will manage the essential transactional workflow of the department using ADP Workforce Now and Google Suite, serving as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and maintaining the integrity of our employee data. You will support the team by generating critical compensation documents, managing inbox communications, and ensuring new hires have a seamless onboarding experience.

This is a temporary assignment expected to last through July 2026.

Responsibilities and Duties  

  • Process employee data changes and maintain up-to-date records within ADP Workforce Now to ensure absolute data accuracy and integrity.
  • Monitor and triage the People Operations email inbox to provide timely answers to employee questions or escalate complex issues to the appropriate team members.
  • Support compensation operations by generating compensation letters, preparing documents for review, and assisting with data validation.
  • Coordinate onboarding operations to ensure all logistical requirements are met for new hires prior to their start date.
  • Provide general administrative support to the People Operations team, assisting with filing, reporting, and ad-hoc projects as needed.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements 

  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now and Google Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets).
  • Comfortable working within a Mac-based environment and utilizing a MacBook for daily tasks.
  • Minimum of 0-1 years of experience in an administrative or HR role; recent graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to work onsite at our offices 5 days per week.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive personal information with strict confidentiality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on providing great customer service to internal teams.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

  • Move long distances (such as from building to building) and be stationary for extended periods of time
  • Operate a computer and other office equipment, such as a laptop, copier/printer, etc in a fixed location

 

The starting base pay for this role is between $25/hr and $35/hr at the time of posting. The actual base pay depends on many factors, such as education, experience, and skills. Base pay is only one part of Sila’s competitive Total Rewards package that can include benefits, perks, and equity.  The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
