We are looking to strengthen our HR team with a Payroll & HR Specialist. In this broad role, you ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll and coordinate international payroll in collaboration with a specialized partner. You act as the first point of contact for all payroll and hard HR-related matters, while ensuring compliance with HR policies and legislation.
Beyond payroll, you take ownership of a wide scope of HR operations: benefits administration, fleet management and the management of our HR systems and platforms. You play a central role in guaranteeing efficient HR administration and seamless employee experience throughout the organization.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll for Belgian employees in close collaboration with our payroll partner.
- Coordinate international payroll processes with a specialized partner.
- Act as the primary contact for hard HR-related questions from employees and external stakeholders.
- Maintain HR policies and ensure compliance with legislation.
- Onboard new employees with an explanation of their salary and benefits and follow-up on the onboarding and offboarding process.
- Administer employee benefits and manage partnerships (e.g. Payflip, KBC, DKV, Lease A Bike).
- Manage and further develop the HR platform Officient.
- Act as Fleet Manager, coordinating with partners and contributing to defining the company car offer.
- Support training administration and manage processes linked to training provision.
Requirements
- A degree in HR, Social Law, Personnel Management or equivalent through experience.
- Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in payroll and HR administration.
- Strong knowledge of Belgian social legislation; international payroll experience is an advantage.
- Experience and knowledge of compensation and benefits is a strong plus.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage a broad range of responsibilities independently, while collaborating effectively with the team.
