Paid Search Manager at Swytch Bike
At Swytch, we pride ourselves on having probably THE most successful digital marketing strategy in the eBike industry, and possibly one of the most successful ever strategies for crowd-funding style pre-order marketing.
We call it "Crowd Shopping".
Crowd, because we achieve huge economies of scale, and are able to offer customers the best possible price through grouping together huge "Crowds" of customers to create order sizes even larger than we would get from a large-scale B2B customer (e.g. Halfords).
Shopping, because our product is established, mass-produced with extremely high reliability and a market-leading customer support team, meaning that customers are not taking on any risk when they pre-order. They accept a 6 or 12 week wait as part of the pre-order "made to order" sales model.
The Role
Our approach relies heavily on our excellent marketing team to target the right audiences and create our customers. We are recruiting a Paid Search Manager to join the current marketing team. The role will report to our CMO and will hold responsibility for activating our digital marketing campaigns across our channels.
Our strategy and this roles' responsibilities lie in 4 key areas:
1. Video: Our strategy relies heavily on video content, and in the last 2 years we've had over 90 Million video views and over 200 Million impressions across all platforms from our ads.
2. Lead Generation Optimisation: Our sales and marketing funnel is anchored on a lead generation approach, all digital marketing is optimised towards generating email leads, which are then converted into sales via email invite
3.Crowd Funding/Launch Approach: The core of our marketing strategy is rooted in the crowd-funding marketing approach.
4. Growth Hacking: We've achieved performance of 1,000% overall ROAS with previous marketing campaigns
Requirements
Impact - Be commercially minded and results-driven, prioritising and focusing on the activities that will drive the biggest business and customer impact.
Big/Complex Data - Have experience of managing complex data sets to drive insights, campaign execution and measurement and reporting.
Data detail approach - Extremely data driven and high attention to detail.
Cross Functional Teams - Experience partnering with cross-functional teams, especially sales and commercial functions.
Problem Solver - Analytical and problem - solving skills experience.
Customer Insights- Customer-focused, with the ability to use customer insights to drive improvements to the end to end customer experience.
