Position Overview

The Orientation, Associate Specialist is responsible for organizing and facilitating orientation sessions, coordinating with various departments for materials and logistics, managing training content on the company's Learning Management System (LMS), and ensuring new hires have seamless and positive onboarding experience. The Orientation, Associate Specialist deliver orientation experiences that are engaging, compliant, and tailored to role, accelerating confidence and performance for new joiners.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

·       Assist in New Hire Orientation and provide positive onboarding experience for all new hires.

·       Facilitate sessions on culture, conduct, EHS/HV awareness (as applicable), quality mindset, and digital tools.

·       Coordinate tours, guest SMEs, assessments, and day-1 logistics (badging, PPE).

·       Curate and maintain onboarding materials; manage LMS sessions and completions.

·       Track 30/60/90 checkpoints and buddy program outcomes.

·       Organize and conduct weekly orientation sessions to provide new employees with essential information about the company.

·       Work with cross-functional teams (HR, IT, etc.) to arrange materials, spaces, and any necessary resources for a smooth onboarding process.

·       Update and maintain training content on the company's intranet and Learning Management System (LMS).

·       Ensure new hires have a positive experience by providing support and clear communication throughout their initial weeks.

Minimum Qualifications

 

·       Bachelor’s; 2–4 years facilitation/onboarding; safety awareness training preferred.

·       Proficiency in e-learning software and platforms.

·       Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities.

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·       Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment.

·       Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).

·       Experience in conducting virtual training sessions.

·       Strong presentation and public speaking skills.

·       Ability to convey complex information in a simple and engaging manner.

·       Proficiency with MS Office and related business and communication tools.

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

·       Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

·       Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse groups.

·       Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
