About the position:
Location: Smyrna, TN or Bowling Green, KY (Fully onsite)

In this role you will:
• Represent Fluence at our Battery manufacturing partner, overseeing the construction of several lines, collaborating with the supplier’s project team
• Prepare, perform and oversee all daily, weekly and monthly reports as required.
• Evaluate/analyze report results and then develop/initiate corrective actions/process improvements as needed.
• Review KPI’s and performance with client (weekly, monthly, quarterly) as required
• Negotiate, develop, and manage multi-disciplined projects, as well as tracking and managing business results and routinely sharing and presenting those results on a regular basis to the Fluence LLC
• Delivers operational excellence through optimizing capacities, total cost effectiveness and value to the customer base. Ensures operation plans achieve targeted cost and efficiency results that maximize value for the business unit.
• Executes plans for quality and process excellence that ensures consistent quality assurance and process excellence procedures, controls and feedback.

What an ideal candidate brings to Fluence?
Minimum of 10 years of industrial experience in manufacturing leadership positions, gained in battery manufacturing and cleantech environmentBachelor's degree (Engineering or Operations Management preferred).Proven experience in project management for large Capital plan: in site expansion / green field / brown field Demonstrated success in developing and executing manufacturing strategies and optimizing operations to achieve cost reductions and productivity gains while operating in a demanding customer environmentHands-on experience in supply chain, lean manufacturing, and manufacturing to drive aggressive financial results and continuous improvement experience
