We're seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in designing, prototyping and building components for our battery cell design! You'll contribute to the design, prototyping, and validation of first-of-a-kind features of our battery electrodes. As a problem solver, you'll creatively tackle mechanical design challenges as we release components for high volume manufacturing and in-house automated assembly. You'll work with the rest of the electrode and cell design team to define verification plans, and craft test vehicles and experiments to verify and validate designs. Comfortable working in a prototype shop environment, your role will involve hands-on fabrication and assembly of prototypes, test fixtures and vehicles.
