We’re looking for a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer with structural, thermal, and electrical design experience to join our High Voltage Charging and Distribution team. As a High-Voltage Harness Mechanical Engineer you will develop state-of-the-art high-voltage harnesses and distribution systems for electric vehicles, investigate challenges with high-voltage distribution components such as chargeports & cable harnesses, and implement innovative solutions. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude, demonstrates excellence in their respective fields, and possesses the ability to adapt quickly within a fast-paced environment. Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
· California (Bay Area) - $104,000-$143,000

Qualifications:
3-6 years of relevant work experienceStrong mechanical engineering fundamentalsProficient with CATIA or similar CAD software (3DX experience highly beneficial)Experience with FEA using Ansys or similar softwareKnowledge of harness and/or connector design for high-voltage environmentsKnowledge of manufacturing processes such as injection molding, sheet metal stamping, die casting, etcExperience with root cause corrective action processesWell-developed team-working and interpersonal skills in a cross-functional environment
