Marketing & Event Coordinator

As our Marketing & Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for trade show planning and event logistics.

• You work with the sales team to create the annual trade show and event calendar (international and regional).
• You coordinate participation in international trade shows and regional partner events. You book exhibition spaces, work with external agencies to ensure that the booth is set up correctly and all necessary marketing materials are in place. You assist the Smappee sales team before and during the event.

You oversee and are responsible for the design and production of marketing and sales materials. This includes assets for marketing campaigns, product materials and sales materials in various formats.

• You work with different external agencies to design and produce offline and online materials consistent with the Smappee branding guidelines.
• With the de product management team you develop product marketing materials.
• You collaborate with the sales team to develop and adapt sales and marketing materials for different target audiences and regions.
• You are responsible for marketing logistics. You manage the inventory of brochures and display materials, place print orders as needed and follow-up on the order process.
• You follow up on requests for marketing materials from partners and from the sales team.

Requirements

• You have a master’s degree in Marketing, Communication or similar field. Or are equal by experience. You have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
• You are located in Belgium and you are able to come to HQ at least 3 days a week.
• You have strong organizational and project management skills with high attention to detail.
• You have experience with organizing trade shows and events (large or small)
• You take initiative and ownership.
• Good knowledge of PowerPoint and knowledge of Adobe creative cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Experience in photography and video editing is a plus.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English, as well as exceptional proofreading skills. Other languages are an added value.
• You have a ‘green heart’ and you believe in renewable energy.
