Quality Manager

What You Will Be Doing

The Operations Technician will use Manufacturing/Quality concepts to ensure manufacturing quality and help improve yield of the assigned production line. Candidate must also be able to verify that incoming and/or in-process material meets specifications. Responsible for the inspection of material, the documentation of defective material, data collection, and reporting. Candidate will also conduct audits ensuring that tools & equipment are properly calibrated, BOM verification, and processes are followed per documented work instructions. The Operations Technician will work closely with Manufacturing and Quality Engineering to provide reports, charts, graphs etc. to monitor and improve product quality.

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

• Assemble prototype and production products
• Work with Engineer to create Work Instruction, Quality check List
• Assist engineers in developing, building, or testing prototypes or new products, processes, or procedures
• Inspect, test all products from our assembly line and RMA
• Perform in-coming, in-process, and final inspection
• Sort and contain parts effectively and efficiently when issues arise
• Collect data to assist in Manufacturing/Quality improvement activities.
• Conduct audits and support corrective actions.

Requirements

• 3 - 5 years’ experience in a Manufacturing Quality Control environment.
• Knowledge and direct experience in manufacturing operations, NPI, quality inspections and electromechanical products.
• Understanding of outsourcing activities with local and international contract manufacturers.
• Experience in DFx methodologies.
• Able to perform root cause analysis and resolve problems on a conceptual and advanced troubleshooting level.
• Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Experience with high power AC and DC products a plus.
• Experience using DMMs and mechanical inspection tools.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic startup environment.
• Written and spoken English proficiency required
• Ability to lift 30 lbs.

ChargePoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $60,000 to $72,000. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications and specific work location.
