This position assumes responsibility for all current model Manufacturing Engineering activity within the Semi Knock-Down (SKD) facility in Lucid Manufacturing’s AMP-2 Vehicle Assembly Plant in King Abdullah Economic City, KSA. This will include Powertrain and General Assembly technology areas.

As this will be a Greenfield facility, the successful incumbent will be required to define and recruit his or her organization, ensure successful completion and handover of all pre-series equipment validation activities and work with the Lucid USA Manufacturing Engineering and Launch teams to successfully secure a pre-defined Start of Production date in the Kingdom. Once handed over after SOP, the current model Manufacturing Engineering Manager will have responsibility for all process & equipment improvements, day to day problem solving and issue resolution and general system performance.

As the KSA plant grows from SKD to CBU the Manufacturing Engineering manager’s scope and team will also scale up to include more closely working with the Product Engineering and US Manufacturing Engineering teams to ensure lessons learned have been incorporated and a strong level of built-in-quality is evident. This team will also work alongside the Global Launch team during CBU launch to oversee factory install & commissioning before then ensuring a good handover to the Operations team and once again assuming product ownership from a ‘current car engineering’ position.

At Lucid, we don’t just welcome diversity - we celebrate it! Lucid Motors is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace. We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, national or ethnic origin, age, religion, disability, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity and expression, marital status, and any other characteristic protected under applicable State or Federal laws and regulations.
