We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to work on the development of a range of processes needed to make an electrolyzer. You will split your time between enabling our current manufacturing processes and creating the processes of the future. You will spend time with the production team identifying, triaging, and correcting manufacturing problems. You will work with partners from the design, research, process development, and test teams to design future process flows in a manufacturing environment working with high-tech assemblies.

You will work at our Devens, MA office and will report to our Director of Stack Process and Ops Manufacturing Engineering.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Identify and triage daily manufacturing problems

  • Contribute to standard operating procedures for the range of processes needed to build an electrolyzer stack

  • Maintain a quality system that documents problems and guides root cause identification and corrective actions

  • Execute process improvements that improve the safety, quality, repeatability, and speed of existing fabrication steps

  • Execute the roadmap for process/area projects

  • Develop future assembly processes to help us build towards our larger manufacturing goals

  • Ensure process robustness by using tools like PFMEA, Taguchi DOE and six sigma

  • Commit to safety and the implementation of safety guidelines

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in relevant engineering field

  • 2+ years of relevant project experience in a technical manufacturing environment

  • Deep familiarity with the following fabrication processes: manual assembly, automated assembly, fluid systems, or test engineering

  • Experience developing and improving designs and processes

  • Familiarity with a CAD programs such as: Onshape, SolidWorks, or NX

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software programs

  • Familiarity with a MES program such as: FactoryLogix or Plex

  • Familiarity with data analysis tools such as: JMP or Minitab

$90,000$105,000 USD

Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.​
