About This Role:

Crusoe Energy is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Manager of Material Management & Logistics to oversee all material flow, warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory management across two critical facilities in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area. This role requires a data-driven leader who is ready to build high-performing, multi-site teams, develop scalable processes, and implement industry best practices.

Your leadership will directly influence production throughput, material accuracy, inventory health, and the overall efficiency of Crusoe’s supply chain, ensuring consistent material availability to support both production and machining operations. This is a full-time, high-impact management position that offers multi-site responsibility.

What You’ll Be Working On:

  • Multi-Site Leadership & Standardization: Lead and develop material management, warehouse, logistics, packaging, and receiving teams across two operational sites. Implement standardized best practices, processes, and SOPs across both facilities to ensure consistent operations.

  • Receiving, Inspection & Quality Flow: Oversee all inbound material activity, including unloading, inspection, labeling, and system receipt for both facilities. Partner with Quality and Procurement to handle nonconforming, quarantined, and RMA materials, ensuring proper segregation and documentation.

  • Inventory Control & Optimization: Own all warehousing operations, including storage, put-away, organization, and traceability. Lead monthly and annual physical cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies and implementing corrective actions. Implement and oversee inventory improvement methods such as min/max, safety stock, reorder point planning, Kanban, and ABC classification.

  • Material Movement & Production Support: Develop robust material staging processes for work orders, kitting, internal transfers, and production line feeding. Ensure the timely and accurate movement of materials throughout the facilities and that they are delivered to production areas fully prepared and ready for immediate use, reducing production downtime.

  • Logistics, Shipping & Outbound Coordination: Oversee all outbound logistics, including packaging, wrapping, palletizing, freight scheduling, and compliance with customer requirements. Manage relationships with carriers, freight brokers, and logistics partners to ensure on-time delivery and competitive pricing.

  • Safety, Organization & Lean Principles: Ensure a safe, clean, organized workspace by using 5S and lean manufacturing principles. Drive reduction in non-value-added movements, excess handling, and uncontrolled inventory.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement, Quality, Production Planning, and Machining departments to ensure material readiness. Participate in daily production meetings and proactively communicate material shortages, delays, and logistics updates to all stakeholders.

  • Process Improvement & Systems Enhancement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and root-cause analysis techniques. Enhance ERP usage, data accuracy, and material transactions across both facilities.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

  • Leadership Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in material management, logistics, or warehousing, with a proven ability to lead multi-site teams and standardize processes.

  • Operational Knowledge: Strong understanding of receiving, inventory control, warehousing, logistics, packaging, and material flow best practices, including experience in both assembly manufacturing and machine shop environments.

  • System Proficiency: Proficient in ERP systems and inventory management tools, with the ability to build, analyze, and act on KPI dashboards and operational data.

  • Communication & Teamwork: Clear and effective communicator, skilled in cross-functional coordination with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Procurement, and Planning. Must be collaborative, solutions-focused, and able to adapt to shifting priorities.

  • Physical & Safety Capabilities: Able to operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely. Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing necessary warehouse-related physical tasks. Strong commitment to safety, organization, and 5S best practices.

  • Compliance: You must be able to pass a background check and drug/alcohol test.

Bonus Points:

  • Familiarity with continuous improvement tools (beyond the required implementation of Lean/Six Sigma/Kaizen).

  • Ability to effectively use Google Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Meet).
