We are seeking a Finance Manager with relevant experience to support factory cost management and project controls for construction and operations of manufacturing facilities.  This position will lead a team to collaborate with internal and external partners on cost management, cost analysis, cost reporting and benchmarking throughout the execution of various project stages and manufacturing operations.

The Role:

  • Cost Management of Capital Projects:  Support the development and implementation of cost management program for capital projects, including approved budget, total commitments, cost incurred and invoiced costs.  Work closely with project team to forecast project costs during project execution
  • Financial Reporting:  Produce reports/dashboards to communicate cost performance versus budget for capital projects and operational expenses, including headcount related metrics
  • Cost Analysis & tracking: Perform trend analysis and actively evaluate operational cost performance to identify potential risk areas and validate forecasts
  • Partner with operations in manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain to understand financial inputs and provide guidance on operating decisions
  • Managing factory budget, forecast and variance analysis including both CAPEX and OPEX
  • Other work as needed in support of finance and operations activities, including month end close, business planning, benchmarking and process analysis
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field
  • At least 10 years of experience as a finance analyst: preferably in automotive, manufacturing, and/or high-tech industries
  • At least 5 years people manager experiences
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant project management software
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments with a high degree of autonomy and accountability for results
  • Creative and innovative approaches and solutions on a project-by-project basis
  • Demonstrated effective written, interpersonal and oral communication skills
