Role Description:
We seek a Manager of Electrolyte Engineering to lead the product integration and scale up of the electrolyte component of Form Energy’s long-duration energy storage system. In this role, you will be responsible for defining the strategy for integrating the battery electrolyte into fielded energy storage systems. You’ll lead a team of engineers to define strategies for pumping, filling, and maintaining composition of cells with 100’s of gallons of electrolyte solution. Additionally, you will work closely with the electrolyte development and supply chain teams to define electrolyte specifications and quality requirements.  The Electrolyte Engineering team will interface with various internal teams, including electrolyte development, component integration, system design, battery products, and supply chain, as well as external vendors and manufacturers. You will use your experience as a technical individual contributor and as a leader of technical teams to act as a “player-coach” in the deployment of electrolytes at Form Energy. You will build and lead a dynamic team that solves hard and at times, open-ended, technical problems with rigor and creativity.

Form Energy is committed to equitable compensation and we offer a generous benefits package to make sure you have the support you need. We cover 100% of employee premiums and 80% of dependent premiums for medical, dental, and vision insurance for full time employees. We offer a 401k and all employees are granted stock options. A full listing of our benefits is available on our careers page
