About the company:

Doing something different is never easy. It requires courage, optimism and grit. Core to our mission is building a team of adventurous individuals determined to make a positive impact on the world. This means challenging ourselves constantly. Stretching beyond the bounds of conventional thinking. Reframing old problems. Seeking new solutions. And operating comfortably in a space of uncertainty. While our backgrounds are diverse, our team shares a love of the outdoors and a desire to protect it for future generations. Do you like doing the impossible? We’d love to hear from you.

Rivian is on a mission to keep the world adventurous forever. This goes for the emissions-free Electric Adventure Vehicles we build, and the curious, courageous souls we seek to attract.

As a company, we constantly challenge what’s possible, never simply accepting what has always been done. We reframe old problems, seek new solutions and operate comfortably in areas that are unknown. Our backgrounds are diverse, but our team shares a love of the outdoors and a desire to protect it for future generations.

Role Summary

Rivian’s Spaces footprint is expanding with the launch of our Brooklyn Hub, and we are seeking a seasoned leader to oversee the location.

Our Hubs are regionally curated spaces that serve as venues for our mission to manifest through our products, people, and community. We curate discovery that will both awe and delight, creating opportunities to uncover innovations, local offerings, and new destinations – natural invitations to step out of one’s comfort zone and into adventure.

Rivian Hub Managers are highly empowered and will oversee all aspects of customer experience, sales, operations, and staffing at their location, while ensuring performance goals are met. You desire the challenge of a new business and the excitement of building something from the ground up. You lead by example and inspire your team to live Rivian’s mission to Keep the World Adventurous Forever.

  • Meet or exceed location-level OKRs and financial plans, including KPI targets, labor budget, and overall location P&L goals
  • Uphold the operational framework, best practices, and playbooks to deliver the best experience possible to our customers and team
  • Uphold the processes that allow location team to seamlessly move a customer through the ownership funnel with the help of the digital commerce platform and CRM tools
  • Supervise location staff, including hiring, training, mentoring, coaching, and evaluating performance
  • Manage the staffing model, including scheduling, shift patterns and the number of staff required to meet demand / traffic, in order to maximize efficiency and deliver a best-in-class experience
  • Support various special events (both onsite and remote) and new site openings across the commercial organization as needed
  • Manage and maintain compliance with all local, state and federal regulations as well as Rivian company policy and procedures
  • Relentlessly uphold visual merchandising and retail presentation standards
