We are currently seeking an ADAS Validation Manager to join our Software Quality and Validation Engineering team. This requires a hands-on manager that has experience building teams and has a track record of successfully bringing new automotive ADAS/AD features into production. The ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, possess the ability to learn quickly, and strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
· California (Bay Area) - $150,000-$214,500
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. The Role:
Lead and build the team for AD/ADAS Level 1 system validationManage validation of features related to ADAS impacting performance, infotainment, comfort, safety, Functional SafetyDefine test strategies and collaborate with Quality Assurance, Development, System Engineers and product teamsLead creation of manual/automated test casesTroubleshoot systems/sub-systems/component using lab and measurement equipment including power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters as well as tools such as Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape, etc.Develop standards and best practices for managing supplier sourced softwareDevelop metrics to track team performanceIdentify systemic gaps and drive improvement in test coverageSupport manufacturing and service teams with troubleshooting and issue resolutionMentor and guide team members, fostering their growth and development in the field of system validationQualifications:
10+ years with hands-on experience in Software Development or Validation/QA TestingExperience with managing teamsExperience with program management of large-scale programs & products in the automotive or related domainExperience with developing and executing Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R)Experience in V-model system development, verification & validation frameworkExperience task and requirements management tools like JIRA and JAMAPreferred:
Knowledge of ASPICE, APQP, ISO26262, FMVSS and SAE standards and practicesFamiliarity with MATLAB, Vector and/or Peak CAN based toolsExperience with languages like Python, C, C++ is a plusEducation:
