We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant to join our Finance team! Your role will include the co-ordination and preparation of the monthly management accounts, reporting on variances as required and providing commercial insight. You will be working closely with the business to assist with day-to-day finance management and identifying any commercial risks or opportunities to improve the business’ position.
Please note: this role is a fixed term contract for 3 months with a start date in September 2024.

What you'll do
Monthly management reporting, including balance sheet reconciliations, preparing accrualsPreparing monthly divisional reports and liaising with finance representatives to finalise resultsReviewing VAT returns, loan schedules and prepaymentsAnalyse monthly results for senior management and be able to explain any unexpected results.Review and reconcile intercompany balancesManaging creditor and debtor ledgers and dealing with any queries regarding payments or receiptsEnsuring that reporting is compliant with all relevant accounting standards and keeping up to date with new reporting standards that may impact the companyReviewing finance processes in each entity to ensure that improvements are made continuously to help the businesses run more efficiently.Assisting department heads with day to day finance management of the businessAssisting with system implementation projectsWhat you'll need
Qualified Chartered Accountant e.g. ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent (essential)A degree in accounting, finance or equivalent, and relevant finance or accounting experienceKnowledge of FRS102 and IFRS accounting standardsStrong IT skills including advanced excel skills (including Pivot tables, advanced formulas, and macros)Must be able to effectively communicate and present to senior managementDemonstrate ability to liaise with stakeholders and external parties confidentlyOrganised and self-motivated, able to multi-task and prioritise to meet deadlinesNumerate with a high focus on accuracy and attention to detailExperience working in Netsuite would be preferableWhy else you'll love it here
