Responsibilities
Operation and maintenance of various process equipment in various shops at Lucid depending on department.Perform preventive maintenance on all type of equipment large and small. Work with maintenance planner to learn and use the CMMS system.Troubleshoot and repair of complex problem equipment. Repair and/or replacement of defect parts. Support installs of new equipment. Fabricate metal parts for plant and/or production equipment. Establish, schedule, execute and document all preventive maintenance (PM) activities on responsible equipment.Enforce and follow all Safety rules and regulations.Other responsibilities as needed Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GEDAt least 2 years work experience in a maintenance capacity on manufacturing or industrial equipmentThere is frequent need to stand, stoop, walk, lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform other similar actions during the workday.Ability to work flexible schedule, overtime, weekends, when necessary.Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.Preferred Skills or Experience
Mechanical knowledge and detailed troubleshooting abilities of robots.Electrical knowledge up to 480 VAC, proper troubleshooting practices, and the correct use of VOM and other related tools.Familiarity with shafts, conveyors, and various other equipment.Knowledge of lifting and rigging techniques.Skills related to pipe fitting including threading pipe, tubing bending and swaging pipe.MIG, TIG and stick welding and cutting skills.Can operate mobile equipment including forklifts and burden carriers.Knowledge of HVAC components and operation including chilled water coils and gas burners.Knowledge of hot water boilers. Can perform layout for mechanical design.Knowledge of lifting and rigging techniques.Understanding of PLC logic controls (Rockwell / Siemens / Etc.)Understanding of Pneumatics-solenoid valves, actuators and controls.Should understand the cylinders, valves and how to rebuild them.
