Lucid Motors is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor for our Powertrain Department. The right candidate will be organized and driven, with excellent leadership skills.

Responsible for developing the equipment maintenance plan (EMP) for new manufacturing equipment: Research vendor/OEM manufacturing equipment recommendation, execute data analysis on asset, and facilitate cross-functional SME team meetings, and validate EMP. You Will:

  • Develop maintenance operating discipline. 
  • Responsible for developing the equipment maintenance plan (EMP) for new manufacturing equipment: Research vendor/OEM manufacturing equipment recommendation, execute data analysis on asset, and facilitate cross-functional SME team meetings, and validate EMP 
  • Responsible for developing PM and PdM procedures and frequency of implementation. 
  • Develop standard Maintenance Procedure and validation system. 
  • Participate in developing the maintenance budget to support the maintenance strategy. 
  • Identify and standardize on critical spare parts. 
  • Provide equipment reliability and performance data to the technical resource networks for input into equipment purchasing requirements, evaluation of equipment performance, vendor performance, and modifications to Most Effective Technology (MET). 
  • Recommends and implements improvements and modifications in sequence of operations, equipment utilization, and related matters. 
  • Coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget 
  • Evaluate new technologies, such as predictive tools, to be used by technicians and engineers. 
  • Support Industrial Hygiene and other EH&S work process activities. Incorporate safety considerations in planning and maintenance implementation. Understand impact of process chemistry with respect to materials of construction or lubrication. 
  • Supervises the work performance of subordinate hourly employees including: 
  • Training and coaching for development. 
  • Conducting performance appraisals. 
  • Giving direction on daily or weekly work assignments. 
  • Reviews and analyzes consolidated repair and preventive maintenance data to identify trends, problems, and opportunities and recommends actions to improve performance results.  Creates and/or generates reports. 
  • Recommends, implements and enforces methods and procedures to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective maintenance operation. 
  • Sets up and maintains spare parts and supplies inventory. Investigates and purchases parts. 
  • You Bring:

  • 7~10 years’ experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance, with a minimum of 5 years’ supervisory experience required. 
  • 2+ years’ experience in EV powertrain manufacturing maintenance or closely related field. 
  • Robotic and controls skills 
  • Project management experience. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of programs. 
  • Proficient in using a CMMS database 
  • Open minded, highly flexible, positive attitude 
  • Good overall people management skills. 
  • Great communication skills, both verbal and written 
  • Shift flexibility
  • Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma with a technical school certificate or higher education, preferably in facility maintenance or related areas; any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
