We are looking for a Low Voltage Harness Technician Engineer to join the Integration & Validation team. In this role you will build system HIL racks and build electrical test equipment (Breakout box) to support integration testing. This is a great opportunity to work with a very talented team of engineers and to collaborate with the brightest minds in the Automotive industry.

The Role:
Build system HIL racks.Research, procure and assemble hardware needed for the HILs (Hardware in the Loop)Fabricate and build electrical test equipment (Breakout box) to support integration testingMaintain and update all system HILsFabricate and build various levels of test benches for various functional testingSupport and update all Vehicle BucksModify or rework Buck’s harnesses as neededBuild custom benches and vehicle wire harnessesSupport prototype vehicle builds and work with the Engineers to debug electrical harness issuesRework vehicle harnesses as neededSupport harness validation and quality assessmentsSupport Show car builds and custom modificationsWork creatively and efficiently within a multi-disciplinary cooperative environmentManage inventory of parts in the labQualifications:
2+ years of experience in electronics/engineering labAbility to interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagramsTroubleshooting skills in EV (Electric Vehicle) automotive electrical systems, Ethernet, CAN (Controller Area Network), coax etc.Fabrication, soldering and crimping skillsKnowledge of connectors and crimping tools is a plusExperience working with power and hand toolsAble to work well under pressure while multi-tasking and managing competing demands and tight deadlinesExcellent written & verbal communication skillsStrong analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail and desire for continuous improvement.Experience working in a fast-paced lab environmentDocumentation skills using MS Office tools as well as Jira and ConfluencePreferred Qualifications:
