What You Will Be Doing

ChargePoint operates the world’s largest and most open EV charging network. We also design, build, and support the technology that powers it. The position will direct daily and tactical logistics operations. Service Levels, quality, efficiency, cost effectiveness controls and value will be the drivers to meeting and exceed our customer’s expectation through industry best-practices, metrics, and development of win-win relationship with internal and external customers and partners. The position supports Supply Chain, Sales Support, Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Finance. The position will validate inbound, outbound logistics cost/ expenses, supporting ChargePoint’s customers.

This is a highly cross functional role with visibility to global teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective and timely implementation of all Logistics daily operational of Shipping functions.
• Develop and initiate monthly reports having required project timelines, corporate metrics, and productivity measurements.
• Establish and manage relations with warehouses, carriers, drayage providers, sales force, and customers.
• Support upper management in developing logistics cost reduction projects.
• Support on carriers’ performance evaluation and assist on QBR analysis.
• Identify enhancement opportunities and suggest solutions for logistics/operational improvement.
• Support the simplification and standardization of processes to enhance efficiency in logistics.
• Supervising daily routes/schedules of shipments and deliveries.
  • Plan and arrange logistics required shipments.
  • Tracking the progress of shipments
• Involved in supervising the loading of trucks (inbound and outbound shipments), setting up delivery routes and unloading of material.
• Supervising and maintaining communications with carriers, suppliers, customers, CM’s, and warehouses.
• Assist audits of vendor invoices and month-end processing to incorporate finance accruals.
• Develop, and maintain logistic process documentation.
• Develop delivery schedules and drop shipment strategies.
• Managing daily routes/schedules of shipments and deliveries
• Tracking the progress of shipments

Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience, planning background a plus
• 5+ years working knowledge of an ERP system such as NetSuite.
• Must have supply chain optimization experience.
• Strong collaborative skills
• Should be self-directed, have the ability to work independently and be highly motivated.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks all with an attention to fine detail.
• Bachelor’s (Preferred)
• Experience analyzing logistics data and/or large data sets.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
