We are currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator.  This position requires an experienced professional with the ability to support Finished Vehicle and spare parts distribution for Europe.  The successful candidate will have spent considerable time overseeing all aspects of a company’s supply chain, from preparation to transportation to delivery. This position requires partnership with Supply Chain, QA/QC, Manufacturing, Packaging, Engineering, Finance, and Regulatory Affairs to execute processes and manage changes. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigour and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly, and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.

You will:

  • Handling and coordinating the in/outbound shipment(custom clearance & delivery instruction) to ensure the timely delivery
  • Ensure the most cost-effective rate is used to move cargo/package within the required timeframe from the most reliable sources.
  • Ensure timely updates of shipment details and update the system timely to meet documentation requirements.
  • Ensure all transport document is safely stored and structured in a digital way. 
  • Filling and following up the transportation claim per supplier
  • Collecting and analysing the transportation rate, performance per supplier
  • Overseeing and solving the operational issues; participating in supplier performance review and keeping internal stakeholders informed about improvement plans.
  • Participating in the project of transportation management system for both parts and finished vehicle. 
  • Planning for adequate carrier capacity and storage space to keep pace with volume growth
  • You bring:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience with automotive logistics, transportation, and global trade process and procedures, preferably in a high-volume environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with success in working across organisations at all levels.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks
  • Strong computer proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Experience with TMS software applications
  • Advantageous:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics Engineering, or related field.  An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered
  • LEAN, GK, or Six Sigma Certifications
