Zoox is transforming mobility-as-a-service by developing a fully autonomous, purpose-built fleet designed for AI to drive and humans to enjoy.
As a Logistics Associate for manufacturing operations, you’ll be responsible for understanding and adhering to all warehouse processes, inventory accuracy improvements, building on best practices, and general operational checks and balances for our operations.
*This role is based in SF to support growth of the site but will require flexibility commuting to other Bay Area locations
Compensation
This is a contract position and employment for this position will be through a vendor contracted with Zoox. The pay range for this position is $20 to $30 per hour and you will be eligible for a benefits package as offered by the vendor.
Vaccine Mandate
Employees working in this position will be required to have received a single dose of the J&J/Janssen COVID-19 vaccine OR have completed the two-dose Pfizer or Moderna vaccine series. In addition, employees will be required to receive a COVID-19 booster vaccine within two months of becoming eligible for the booster vaccine.
Employees will be required to show proof of vaccination status upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment. That offer of employment will be conditioned upon, among other things, an Applicant’s ability to show proof of vaccination status. Responsibilities:
All warehouse material flow processes to/from dock to production/shipping via all transport conveyance methods (forklift, on foot, etc)Use systems technology to input, retrieve inventory as well as parts data, and process material movements throughout the warehouse.Asses material needs for assigned production areas throughout the shift and pull materials using an information system to support the production schedule.Resolve inventory errors through physical and systemic identification in conjunction with warehouse toolsAdhere to all warehouse safety standards PPE etc.General housekeeping of work areaOther duties as assigned.Qualifications:
HS Degree or GEDUser level computer knowledge including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc)Good communication skills both written and oralAbility to multitask and prioritize work in order to successfully accomplish job duties on time.Ability to operate heavy warehouse equipmentAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to quickly problem solve and deliver on high pressure situationsPossess a “get it done” attitude and a sense of urgency to resolve problems and tasks.Ability to successfully collaborate between the warehouse and production teams and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
