About the Role

The Lead Project Developer at Heirloom is responsible for developing and executing the strategy and plan for a 10M+ ton project pipeline of air capture deployments throughout the Gulf Coast. You will work with landowners, utilities, CO2 transport and storage providers, and our internal commercial, projects, and policy teams to bring a pipeline of projects from idea to FID. This is a hands-on role with an opportunity to grow a team that executes against a portfolio of mega-scale projects throughout the Gulf Coast, covering everything from site selection, utility service agreements, state incentive, project modeling, and more. 

What you will bring

You will bring a wealth of experience developing renewable energy, CCUS, power generation, or other similar projects to Heirloom. You’re highly detail oriented, and love breaking down ambiguous, constantly changing, and fast paced challenges into simple, concrete tasks. You’re an expert negotiator, can speak a “project finance” language, and can move seamlessly between policy, engineering, community, and commercial worlds. Bonus points if you bring experience with renewable development and PPA negotiations.

This role will be based in the Gulf Coast - preferably Houston or Louisiana.
