Responsibilities
Identification, research and tracking of applicable global Environmental and Substance Regulations, Directives and Initiatives.Monitoring the development of and research any new global Environmental and Substance Regulations, and any updates in the existing Regulations.Data analysis and BOM evaluation for material compliance activities.Educate and communicate internally about materials and substance requirements.Cooperate with Engineering and R&D teams on substitutions for phased-out substances.Support Arrival’s Product Compliance team in any ad-hoc tasks.Cooperate in development of internal compliance solutions.Expertise
Familiarity with EU legislation.Previous experience of working within a global market certification environment.Experience in reading and interpreting standards and regulations a must.Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across the organisation as well as with government authorities and test labs.High level of independent judgment, accuracy, creativity and initiative.Ability to quickly identify, evaluate, summarise and elevate items requiring higher-level leadership attention.Strong demonstration of commitment to teamwork.Comfortable with dealing with ambiguous and unpredictable situations.Ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines.Ability to travel with short notice.
