Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of attribute engineers to identify, design and validate monitoring features for critical attributes in their respective disciplines.
  • Plan and manage the delivery of all VAM features, considering dependencies on the maturities of other features and systems, and generate roadmaps to deliver a device platform that can monitor its own performance.
  • Act as Feature Lead for all VAM features, ensuring that all requirements for each VAM feature have been correctly cascaded to the relevant System and Feature Squads, approving all VAM feature requirements created by the VAM Feature Architects.
  • Deliver regular attribute reports to the business, outlining insights into the data collected, and the proposed strategies to improve attributes, both during development and after SOP.
  • Work with the Connected Device Platform team to ensure that the VAM framework enables stakeholders from all attribute disciplines to leverage collected data and insights.
  • Collating the proposed strategic improvements to vehicle attributes, identifying any synergies across systems, and prioritising those with the highest benefit-to-cost ratio in recommendations to the wider business.
  • Planning continuous improvement of VAM features; increasing accuracy, insight, and automation.
  • Take the lead on critical attributes, ensuring rapid insights are generated for business-critical attributes.
  • Implement Device Trees that can be used to generate insights at each layer of abstraction, for all Arrival vehicles.
  • Check and approve each VAM feature, as well as contributing to any feature as necessary, liaising with Vehicle Platform teams to ensure VAM targets are in line with vehicle requirements.
  • Create framework in which fleet-level attribute status reports are automatically generated and provided to Attribute Leads, Vehicle Attribute Managers, and Senior Management.
  • Required Expertise:

  • Deep knowledge of a wide range of Vehicle Attributes in the BEV sector.
  • Experience defining, cascading, and validating Vehicle attributes, throughout Automotive D&D cycle.
  • Project Management and Leadership experience
  • Systems Engineering experience.
  • Knowledge of attributes specific to Autonomous Vehicles.
  • Jira or other project management tools
  • PowerBI or similar data visualisation tools.
  • Python, MATLAB, Vector CAN toolchain.
  • Data Science, Machine Learning and/or Artificial Intelligence
