About the company:

Zoox is transforming mobility-as-a-service by developing a fully autonomous, purpose-built fleet designed for AI to drive and humans to enjoy.

In this role, the intern will work on data pipelines and tooling infrastructures that convert sensor data collected from test vehicles into labeled ground truth data that can be consumed by machine learning model training and validation processes. Activities include developing data pipelines that standardize data formats and facilitate data query ability, building frontend features used by machine learning engineers to access and manage their datasets.

Compensation

The monthly salary range for this position is $6,500 to $9,500. Compensation will vary based on role, degree level and type, and benefits will be offered based on eligibility. Additional benefits may include medical insurance, 401k, and a housing stipend.

Technical Qualifications & Language Requirements

Computer Science background with Bachelor or M.S degree.

Experience writing high quality Python code.

Experience with large-scale data analytics engines such as Spark.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience in infra/tooling software for Autonomous Driving.

Experience with developing data intensive web application frontend and backend.

Experience working with Databricks.
