About the company:
Archer is an aerospace company based in Palo Alto, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers for 60 miles at speeds of up to 150 mph while producing minimal noise.

What you’ll do:
- Manage activities and personnel of IT Operations
- Create documentation of internal policies, procedures and Client-facing Help Guides
- Perform procedures to support Compliance requirements (SOX, ISO, and other) including maintaining policies and completion of audit activities
- Ensure the operation is in accordance w/ the established procedures and practices
- Monitor performance of support personnel; review response times, ticket data, and trends in problems reported
- Manage deployment & updates of enterprise solutions residing on worker machines
- Recommend strategies and/or hardware/software improvements to increase employee productivity
- Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
- Identifies, prioritizes, and confirms resolution of reported problems with desktop, laptop, networked devices/systems
- Ensure all phases of IT Operations including installations, upgrades of software, hardware, operating systems, and configuration issues are properly coordinated, monitored, tracked, and resolved
- Contributes significantly to the design of the Issue to Resolution and Request to Delivery process
- Interfaces with IT Service Request Management configuration team to expand functionality or implement new capabilities
- Create, update, and report network metrics to the IT Leadership Team
- Participate in process definition to support changes in maturity as Archer grows
What you need:

- 8+ years of related IT work experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a computer field
- ITIL or similar certification or demonstrable experience showing knowing knowledge
- Experience with Google Workspace & MS 365, Windows, & VDI solutions
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organized with an strong attention to detail
- Ability to move and lift IT equipment as necessary, including PCs, servers, and rack equipment
