IT Help Desk Associate – Part Time

Radiant is seeking a part-time IT Help Desk Associate to provide first line technical support and assistance to employees. This is an excellent opportunity for a college student or new graduate interested in gaining skills across IT, including computer, software, hardware, network and peripheral troubleshooting. The ideal candidate is proactive and eager to learn, can pick up new technologies quickly, and enjoys problem-solving. You will enable the Radiant team to have the tools and resources to build and test the first new reactor design in over 50 years by 2026.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Provide first line technical assistance and support to in-person and remote end users resolving computer, software, hardware, network, and peripheral issues.
Manage support request software system, Jira, to ensure timely and effective issue resolution.
Maintain IT inventory including workstations and accessories.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1+ years in a help desk, IT associate, or similar industry position.
Basic knowledge of and experience with troubleshooting Windows devices (consumer or enterprise).
Excellent and effective verbal and written communication.
Must have great attention to detail in both issue resolution and proactive follow up in process improvement.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

Experience with troubleshooting macOS and Linux.
Desire to go the extra mile and leave no stone unturned when troubleshooting and reaching solutions.
Eager to continuously learn new technologies with an innate sense of curiosity.

Additional Requirements:

Must commit to 20-30 hours a week Monday-Friday.
Must be able to lift and move equipment up to 40 pounds.
Must be able to work onsite at El Segundo HQ.
