A role in Inventory Management within Global Supply Chain means sitting at the center of an exciting manufacturing, sales and operations environment for a company defining the Future of Food. Our team is delivering against a promise to deliver plant-based products at taste, quality, and cost parity to animal protein.
As an Inventory Analyst – Inventory Placement, you will be responsible for the planning and systematic execution of inventory movement through the Beyond Meat supply chain ensuring the right amount of inventory, is in the right place, at the right time to meet the demand of our growing retail, food service and strategic customer base. This new role has a unique opportunity to help redefine the decision-making process for positioning finished goods across several cold-storage facilities to fulfill domestic and international customer orders, as well as help define the processes and procedures for executing transactional data entries within our ERP system that initiate inventory movements, manage storage capacities, and track order fulfillments. This role will sit in Beyond Meat’s Corporate Headquarters in El Segundo, CA, and report into Sr Manager – Inventory Placement within the Inventory Management organization.

TASKS, DUTIES, & GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIESPlan and manage inventory movements from production, quality release, transfer to cold storage, and sales orders.Plan and manage inventory levels vs available capacity across several cold-storage locations for a category of SKUs.Perform routine inventory transactions in NetSuite, such as receipts, fulfillments, transfers, builds, adjustments, etc.Perform extensive research on a wide variety of inventory, sales and transportation related reports to measure and improve fulfillment of sales orders to an array of retail, food service and/or strategic customers.Triage and reconcile discrepancies or irregularities in inventories.Create and maintain inventory databases and systems for accurately managing inventory.Identify and escalate aging or unproductive inventory in partnership with Sales, Procurement, Production Planning, Commercialization and Process Engineering to eliminate unnecessary inventory disposal.Monitor EDI integration errors and ensure they are addressed with the proper resources. QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or Engineering (or 2 years of an equivalent discipline).Food Industry or similar supply chain experience preferred.Prior experience working in an ERP system (NetSuite preferred)Proficient with SQL & Excel.Experience with scripting/statistical language a plus (Python, R, etc.).Strong work ethic with an ability to multitask and prioritize.Excellent verbal and written communications skills.Excellent attention to detail, math, and multi-tasking skills.High comfort level in a fast-paced, diverse, and collaborative environment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT Full-time.This role is located at Beyond Meat’s corporate office in El Segundo, CA.Must report on-site five (5) days per week. May require occasional travel and light-lifting (up to 50 lbs.) to support quarterly physical inventory count procedures.
