We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to join our Supply Chain Program Management team. This position requires a basic understanding of managing complex programs. As well as a passion for working with EV’s, our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.
The hourly range for internships specific to the location is $28/hr-$68/hr and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account: degree level and job-specific domain. Role/Responsibilities: Help bring new vehicle programs to launch Be involved with all aspects of the supply chain including sourcing, tracking production tool progress, tracking prototype part deliveries, ensuring purchasing processes are completed on time, and are ready for various prototype builds Analyze and present data including bill of material (BOM) scrubs, sourcing status, production tool status, clear to build (CTB) reports, and more Assist on long-term improvement projects, by helping implement a product development process methodology
Preferred Qualifications:Field(s) of study: Supply Chain management, Operations managementCurrently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD Degree program at an accredited university. Proof of enrollment in current or into next program (MS, PhD) Ownership mindset with excellent communication skills Proficient in Excel Experience managing complex programs Understanding of supply chain in an automotive setting. Exposure to vehicle program management, operations, or consultant programs Tier 1 supplier experience
Program Information: Timing: May-August, or June-September pending class schedules. Duration of Internship: Our internship program is 12 weeks; the end date is flexible based on individual needs.Work Location & Environment: This position will be in Newark, CA, and is fully in-person. The working environment will be a mix of lab & office work.Compensation: Student compensation is based on location and current degree level, non-negotiable. Relocation: One round trip flight to the assigned work location from/to permanent residence.
