Your main mission as part of OEB will be to develop and take ownership of the codebase and software platforms used to facilitate our suite of innovative products for large businesses. We are looking for individuals who love to engage with interesting software problems, are comfortable in full-stack development, and have the passion to build and shape the future of business energy supply within a collaborative, highly agile development, and community-based environment.

What you'll do
Design, build, and maintain reliable and scalable code for the billing and servicing of our special products for large business customers, including a modular bill calculation engine and associated web framework; shared libraries for use across all platforms; build and deployment scripts; simple UI design.Take an active part in improving our processes and general architecture.Work closely with our commercial team to scope and design software solutions for new products.Become the main code owner and developer within the business team.Support the development of a software development specialism within our data team.
What you'll need
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent2+ years of professional experience in a similar roleHands-on and analytical approach to workCurious, eager to learnInitiative spirit, self-organised and attention to detailHigh analytical capabilities to solve complex issuesHands on and demonstrated ability to work as part of a teamExcellent written and oral communication skills
Expertise with:
