Your Role
We're building a world-class, scalable Finance function ready for future growth in electric aviation. The IFRS Accountant will work in a small team dedicated to producing quarterly and annual IFRS Group financial statements for our SEC filings as well as some local annual financial reporting requirements. Our challenge is to manage the demands of a fast paced and highly disruptive electric aviation start-up, whilst adhering to the rigorous requirements such as Sarbanes Oxley compliance and PCAOB audit standards.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Preparation of IFRS and consolidation journals for our Group accounting software Lucanet.
- Preparation of control documentation for compliance under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
- Preparation of disclosures for our IFRS Group financial statements.
- Review of accounting schedules and financial data to help identify GAAP differences and ensure full IFRS compliance.
- Process improvement and implementation of initiatives to continually enhance the quality and efficiency of our Group closing process.
Your profile
- You will be a part / newly qualified accountant with 1-3 years financial accounting experience (IFRS beneficial) ideally gained working within a corporate environment.
- You take ownership of problems whilst communicating candidly on limitations in resources or knowledge.
- You have a flexible and adaptable approach.
- You write and speak fluent business English.
