As HRIS Business Lead you will enable and support People business solutions within Lilium, with a core focus on employee experience and process excellence. Sitting in the People Function, you will closely collaborate with our partners in Global IT to create the HRIS strategy and roadmap for Lilium.

We are looking for a HRIS Business Lead to be responsible for the current HRIS landscape and it’s continuous improvement. The landscape consists of Workday as the core HRIS along with external Recruitment and Onboarding systems plus Payroll, Office Management and Travel/Expenses systems. Expertise in Workday HCM Core and other modules is required, this role will head up a small team, and therefore needs to have ability and desire to be involved in configuration as well as more strategic management.

Be the Lead for HRIS and take end to end responsibility for the following key areas:

The Role – Key Responsibilities

  • Create and drive the HRIS strategy for Lilium, in collaboration with Global IT to deliver a world class employee experience for our people.
  • Manage support relationships with any partner companies i.e., Workday or AMS provider (i.e., regular evaluation, product enhancement)
  • Manage the configuration of Workday ensuring it meets business needs
  • Provide top level systems support; triage, diagnose, and resolve complex issues originating from end-users
  • Work with the People Services team to deliver improvements in process efficiency for the function
  • Be the expert for all matters related to the functional integration of the global payroll model (ADP) with Workday
  • Management of business change requests e.g., changes to business processes, security, dashboard and report requests
  • Work with SME’s and Global IT for the following activities and act as governance point:
    • Release management
    • Review proposed content with support SME’s/business stakeholders to confirm new functionality to be adopted
    • Maintenance of the current HRIS Landscape
    • Data Governance
    • Ensure personal data is maintained in compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR and SOX)

The Person/Your Profile:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a business product owner within Workday
  • Demonstrated subject matter expertise across Workday HCM Platform and have a strong understanding of people functional business processes
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and a methodical approach
  • Collaborative and hands on attitude
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills with a focus on the customer
  • Analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to switch from technical to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment, multitask, work to deadlines, prioritise under pressure and keep the "big picture" in order to spot opportunities and advise on solutions, improvements and enhancements versus problems
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft tool (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent command of the English language (both verbal and written)
