About The Role:
This is an opportunity to build a career in Human Resources and make a significant impact at a rapidly growing startup! Reporting to the Head of HR for HQ, the HR Specialist will work closely with the entire People Team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, HRIS management, employee programs, and more. You will be a part of building out the best employee experience and be an integral part of the People team!

What You'll Do:
Create an exceptional employee experience with full ownership of our onboarding process, including designing and leading HR and Benefits orientationsOptimize and implement self-service people processes and reduce manual work where possibleManage our benefits administration and coordination with our providers, and play a major role in our benefits planning, strategy, and decisions Lead annual open enrollment and communications company-wideManage employee leaves of absenceBecome the in-house expert on benefits-related questions Maintain and update all employee data company-wide in our HRIS (Ultimate) and other internal systems while regularly conducting internal audits in partnership with HR Systems ManagerAssist with reporting and headcount tracking to help the people team make informed decisionsResponsible for compliance and partnering with legal counsel as neededOwn the employee offboarding process and assist with exit interviews Support immigration and relocation services, coordinating with our providers and employeesPartner with members of the People team to lead and design employee programs and eventsProvide overall administrative support to the HR teamWho You Are:
You are a passionate professional with experience in the field of Human Resources and/or benefits administration You have advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments and competing prioritiesYou exude warmth and passion and have the natural ability to build and manage strong relationships quicklyYou have strong attention to detail, time management, and communication/listening skillsYou have a willingness to learn new technologies within a fast-paced environmentYou have sound professional judgment and discretion to handle confidential issuesYou are self-motivated and proactivePreferred but not required: Working knowledge of HRIS systems, benefits administration, and payroll processesWho We Are:
