We are currently seeking a Human Resources Manager for our Manufacturing Operations in Arizona. This position requires an experienced professional with a strong ability to partner with the business to deliver HR services at our new state of the art production facility in Casa Grande, Arizona. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination.  

This successful candidate will provide organization support of strategic goals, business objectives and human resource initiatives. Partners with organizational leaders to develop plans and achieve overall company goals. Leads, directs and/or performs various assignments in one or more of the following functional areas: compensation, benefits, labor relations, learning, employee development, staffing, diversity and compliance. Will lead, direct and/or perform assignments in the HR Generalist area. 

Provide HR support for the business while partnering with cross-functional teams and leaders and leveraging HR functional expertise to support critical human resources objectives.

The Role

  • Serves as consultant to managers, employees, outside agencies and others concerning HR related issues. 
  • Develops and implements short/long term HR initiatives in support of strategic objectives. 
  • Partners and works collaboratively with our Arizona Logistics HR Team and Corporate HR Team to learn, localize as appropriate, champion and implement Lucid HR programs, policies, procedures and activities. 
  • Ensures leading edge strategies, processes and techniques in areas of responsibility. 
  • Visits work areas regularly to maintain visibility and accessibility to all employees on all shifts. 
  • Build a workforce that creates a competitive advantage by recruiting, developing and retaining top talent. 
  • Leadership and mentoring for other HR staff members. 
  • Provides a broad range of HR support actions for achieving business objectives including change management, leader effectiveness, org design and employee engagement. 
  • Implement initiatives in partnership with division leaders. 
  • Coaches and counsel employees and management on multiple topics, including career planning and development. 
  • Leads headcount needs, manages requisition and staffing process and creates job offers. 
  • Resolves complex issues related to development and implementation of HR processes. 
  • Provides information and orientation regarding HR programs and policies. 
  • Creates an environment that values diversity. 
  • Investigates and participate in resolution of allegations of discrimination, sexual harassment and unfair treatment. 
  • May directly supervise employees and performs other managerial responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. 
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with minimum of ten years Human Resources in-depth expertise/knowledge in two or more Human Resources functions, with demonstrated people and project leadership experience. 
  • Experience in a non-union environment.   
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. 
  • Independent, self-driven and high attention to detail. 
  • A motivated team player. 

  • We Value: 

  • Automotive OEM experience in a non-union environment is a plus. 
  • Experience in helping to establish recruiting and training programs for a greenfield site.   
  • Prior experience in a Human Resources Generalist role preferred, with a history of effectively resolving 
  • Demonstrated expertise in effective interpersonal skills including interviewing, counseling, and group presentations. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated leadership skills including the ability to influence top, middle and lower levels of leadership across the organization and work effectively with all types of employees. 
  • Able to handle multiple priorities and navigate in a high growth environment finding the correct balance between demand and capacity when establishing priorities for the organization. 
  • Working knowledge of government laws, regulations, and legal decisions affecting employment. 
  • Demonstrated experience leading people preferred.
