The Human Resources Generalist is an integral part of the Beyond Meat HR team. You will provide generalist support in areas such as employee engagement, professional development and training, HR processes, performance management, employee relations, and special HR projects. You will work collaboratively with Senior HR Business Partners to improve the HR talent function, ensuring alignment with the Company’s business objectives.

  • Serve as a point of contact to team members, answer questions, and help employees navigate all aspects of HR
  • Partner with and support Sr. HR Business Partners to drive HR’s talent strategy
  • Support in the delivery of HR programs and processes related to workforce planning, employee engagement, performance reviews, promotion process, talent development, and overall talent management
  • Collaborate with the People Operations team, Talent Acquisition and other cross-functional team members on developing processes and iterating on existing ones to create greater efficiency
  • Handle internal movement and departures working alongside cross functional partners 
  • Run ad-hoc and regular reporting (headcount, terminations, new hires, promotions, etc.)
  • Involvement in employee relations matters and be responsible for full cycle processes 
  • Maintain and update internal HR documentation, including transfer/promotion letters and approval forms, job descriptions, immigration, etc. 
  • Remain up to date on local employment legislation and compliance
  • Model and reinforce our cultural values of being smart, kind, and creative!
  • Assist with day-to-day operations 
  • Drive the off-boarding process for separating associates (prep managers, conduct exit interviews).
  • Assist with special projects as assigned
  • Education, Technical Skills, and/or Previous Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Human Resources, or other related fields.
  • 3 – 5 years professional Human Resources Generalist experience.
  • Significant Proficiency Google Office computer skills (Google Drive, Gmail, Calendar, Sheets, Slides, etc. etc.) & Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiar with HRIS, ATS and L&D platforms (Workday, Culture Amp experience a plus) 
  • Working knowledge of Human Resources and labor laws and regulations
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an enthusiasm for working closely with a multitude of internal and external partners.
