Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers for 60 miles at speeds of up to 150 mph while producing minimal noise.

What you’ll do: 

  • Lead develop of Archer OEM pilot training program
  • Lead development of pilot training program for Archer Air
  • Stand up training facilities and programs to train approximately 30,000 Archer qualified pilots between now and 2030
  • Build training and flight standards team to support aircraft operated by Archer Air
  • Provide training and flight operations support to Archer direct customers
  • Be a creative problem solver - what Archer is doing has never been done before 

What you need:

  • Hold pilots license
  • 3+ years experience training pilots
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience
  • Experience working collaboratively and successfully with FAA
  • Experience working with training equipment suppliers

Bonus Qualifications: 

  • Advanced degree
  • ATP rating
  • Both fixed wing and rotary week part 135 and or 121 experience
