We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Operations to support our ADAS/Autonomous Driving (AD) leadership team. This role will work closely with the VP of ADAS/AD to define, execute, and optimize the operational framework that powers our high-performance engineering organization. This is a high-impact position, ideal for a systems thinker with a strong background in automotive technology, operations, and cross-functional leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Planning
- Partner with the VP of ADAS/AD to define and implement departmental goals, vision, and priorities in alignment with company strategy.
- Develop and own the operational roadmap, driving initiatives that improve efficiency, scalability, and delivery quality.
- Establish standardized KPIs, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to support data-driven decision-making.
- Lead strategic planning cycles, including annual operating plans, resource and headcount planning, and budget forecasting and planning.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to support operational and product strategy.
Process Optimization & Cross-functional Execution
- Drive continuous improvement of engineering processes, tools, and workflows across the ADAS/AD team.
- Foster collaboration across Product, Engineering, Finance, HR and other cross functional teams to ensure streamlined execution of broad initiatives.
- Manage departmental operations: lead and document reviews, meetings, and key milestones.
Executive Reporting & Communication
- Prepare and present executive-level updates, including metrics, status updates, and initiatives.
- Translate complex technical and operational data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Support the VP with analyses, preparing presentations and preparing communications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced technical degree strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in engineering operations, program management, chief of staff —preferably within tech sectors, robotics, automotive, or mobility industries.
- Demonstrated experience supporting senior executives or operating as a chief of staff in a high-growth and fast paced environment.
- Proven ability to lead through influence, manage ambiguity, and drive outcomes across diverse teams.
- Expert-level proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with project management and business intelligence tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Tableau, ATS Systems, SAP etc.).
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- High integrity, discretion, and adaptability.
Nice to Have:
- Strong knowledge of electric vehicles, ADAS/AD systems, and the automotive product development lifecycle.
